Eternal words

Forty Shades
by Ulick O'Connor

Let us calumniate green:
It weakens the will in us,
A most unholy sheen
Inducing paralysis.

Midsummer meadows, afloat
In lush heat, throw a blue glow
But beneath lurks the greencoat
Inertia, cop out, no go.

Close the eyes? Yes! Ask still
Is this the right emphasis?
Is darkness negotiable
Without the paralysis.

One Is Animate, 1990

These words could inspire an entire project.
