The excitement, the energy, the cabs...
There is something about New York City that perks you up immediately. You sit up straighter, your shoulders go back, the lipstick gets applied and it challenges you to look at things differently, from an altered perspective.
Visual does not equate to vanity, in our present time with such an abundance of digital media surrounding us it makes sense that the image has become so important. Everyone has become a critic because we are faced daily (hourly, minutely, secondly...) with powerful visions that speak for themselves. Words are no longer necessary. So no wonder people are pushing the boundaries of words by using images, letting the visual do the talking.
